About IAFSA
The Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni is an independent charitable organization. We Engage Alumni by offering volunteer opportunities, social and enrichment activities, emergency assistance and connection to other alumni. We Support Students through scholarships, no-interest loans, and the Sewing and Art Supply Center. We Preserve Alumni House as a meeting place for past and present students, a place of remembrance through the Garden on the Hill and home of the archives of our historic institution.
Mission and Vision
A self-governing, non-profit organization established in 1874 by dedicated alumni, the Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni continues its tradition of service by receiving and administering funds that provide scholarship and benevolent assistance while maintaining Alumni House and collaborating with Framingham State University in pursuit of its mission.
Members
All graduates and recipients of advanced degrees from Framingham State College and Framingham State University are recognized as members of IAFSA with voting privileges and eligibility to hold office.
Alumni are invited to join our online community, where they can join interest groups, participate in discussions, and get in touch with fellow alumni. Click here to sign up.
