ADA SHAWKEY SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship fund was established in memory of Ada Shawkey who taught in the geography department at Framingham State College for many years.
On the occasion of its 50th reunion, the Class of 1957 made a substantial donation to this fund so that it can now benefit a geography major or an education major who is specializing in geography.

Conditions

Applicant shall be a geography or an education major who is specializing in geography who has completed a minimum of 12 courses.
Applicant shall have a minimum cumulative average of 2.75
Applicant shall demonstrate documented financial need (FAFSA form required)
Applicant shall have at least part-time employment.
Applicant must remain a geography or an education major to receive the payment.
