The Fund was established in honor of Dean Dorothy Larned and Dean A. Carolla Haglund who both quietly assisted students with financial aid. The goal is to encourage further donations to make the fund self-sustaining, to be able to make awards from the interest while leaving the principal intact.

Conditions
Applicants must be full-time Framingham State University students.
To qualify students must:
be a commuter student enrolled full-time at Framingham State University;
have completed at least one year of study at Framingham State University;
have a minimum QPA of 2.75;
