The scholarship was established at the time of her retirement in recognition of Marilyn Foley’s many years of service as executive secretary for this alumni association.
While she was a student, Marilyn '58 served as editor of the student newspaper, The Gatepost, and requested that this fund provide scholarship assistance for editors-in-chief of the student newspaper.
