Garden on the Hill

A space of beauty and reflection

Members of the Class of 1964 established the Garden on the Hill in cooperation with IAFSA to honor lost friends from ’64. The Committee envisioned the garden to be used as a place of learning, reflection, and serenity for all alumni, students, and faculty as well as a memorial garden.

The Garden on the Hill is located immediately to the left of Alumni House, on both sides of the sidewalk, and holds a beautiful and thoughtful grouping of perennial shrubs and flowering plants.

Continued maintenance of the garden is supported by the purchase of engraved bricks, which is an integral part of the garden. Suzanne Higham ’86, owner of Frog Hollow Landscaping of Georgetown, MA, donated her design services for the Garden on the Hill project and has continued with its care.

All brick purchases and donations will go toward establishing and maintaining the Garden on the Hill and grounds of Alumni House and are tax deductible.

Bricks will be ordered for you with a donation of $150, which can be paid via PayPal, credit/debit, Venmo, and other online methods. Checks are always welcome.  Email address required.
