Supporting Students is the cornerstone of IAFSA

IAFSA brings Alumni together to financially support students through our scholarship program. We offer over 25 awards and give about $70,000 annually to Framingham State to help students. Students must fill out an application to be considered and are due on March 15th for the following Fall. Each application is reviewed by 3 Alum and then awardees are chosen by a scholarship committee.

The Ellen Hyde No-Interest Loan Program enables eligible students to apply for up to $3,000 interest free. Payments begin after graduation and are held to $50 per month.

We also maintain and operate the Fashion and Art Supply Center which collects donated fabrics, notions and art supplies which are made available to students free of charge.

The Gap Emergency Fund is a source of funding coordinated with the Framingham State Development Office. It is another avenue to help students in crisis.

Alumni House is also open most business hours as an additional space for students for small group meetings, quiet study or to practice the piano. Please call, email or stop by the IAFSA office.
