Supporting Students is the cornerstone of IAFSA

IAFSA brings Alumni together to financially support students through our scholarship program. We offer over 25 awards and give about $60,000 annually to help students coordinating with Framingham State’s financial office).  Students must fill out an application to be considered each Spring by March 15 for the following Fall. Each application is reviewed by three Alumni and then awardees are chosen by a scholarship committee.

The Ellen Hyde No-Interest Loan Program enables eligible students to apply for a maximum loan of $3,000.00, interest free. Payments begin after graduation and are $50 per month.

We also maintain and operate the Fashion and Art Supply Center which collects donated fabrics, notions and art supplies which are made available to students free of charge.

The Gap Emergency Fund is a source of funding coordinated with the Framingham State Development Office. It is another avenue to help students needing sudden financial assistance.

Alumni House is also open most business hours, Monday through Thursday, as an additional space quiet study space for students.
