Nancy Gustavson Hendrickson was a proud member of the class of 1959. She majored in Home Economics and after graduation, did an internship in Dietetics at Mills College in Oakland, CA. Her passion was education and she spent more than 20 years working for the West Contra Costa School District (a majority minoritized district) in Special Education and Reading Intervention. Nancy believed in the critical importance of providing an opportunity for all students to reach their full potential.
The purpose of this scholarship fund is to provide financial assistance to a racial or ethnic minoritized student majoring in a STEM field.
